Supersaturated or Supercooling is the condition in which a liquid has been cooled to a temperature below that at which crystallization normally would occur, without the solid resulting. Example of Supercooling or Supersaturated à Water may be supercooled or supersaturated several degrees past its freezing point without ice forming, as long as no dust or other crystallization points are available.
